 English, you have to say!

Jason送合作伙伴去机场。

Johnny:Thanks for seeing me off at the airport. I really appreciate it.
Jason: No problem, it’s my pleasure. I am glad you had a chance to visit our company, and hope you can come back soon.
Johnny: We should be back in about three months, we’ll have another corporate meeting next quarter. Will you be in the area at that time?
Jason: I should be… Remember to let me know when your flight is coming in when you come, I’ll come and pick you up at the airport.
Johnny: You are too kind!
Jason: Here we are at the terminal, what airline are you flying with?
Johnny: Um… Let me look at the ticket…Oh, that’s right, China Air.
Jason: China Air is in terminal B, this is the international terminal, so all you have to do is walk straight through those doors and turn to you left, you should be able to see the check-in counter.
Johnny: Thanks again for all your help. If you’re ever in the Michigan area, be sure to look me up.
Jason: Yes! Let’s keep in touch.

THE OBSTACLE IN OUR PATH
路上的障碍

In ancient times(在古代), a king had a boulder(大圆石) placed on a roadway. Then he hid(藏起来) himself and watched to see if anyone would remove the huge rock. Some of the king's wealthiest merchants and courtiers(朝臣) came by and simply walked around it.
Many loudly blamed the king for not keeping the roads clear, but none did anything about getting the big stone out of the way. Then a peasant came along carrying a load of vegetables(挑着一担蔬菜). On approaching the boulder, the peasant laid down his burden and tried to move the stone to the side of the road. After much pushing and straining(经过一番推拉), he finally succeeded. As the peasant picked up his load of vegetables, he noticed a purse(钱包) lying in the road where the boulder had been. The purse contained many gold coins(钱包里有很多金币) and a note from the king indicating that the gold was for the person who removed the boulder from the roadway. The peasant learned what many others never understand.
Every obstacle presents an opportunity to improve one's condition.
每一个障碍都代表着一个发展契机。

Live and Learn

If you’re not sure what title to use with an American’s name, just ask. If you’re embarrassed about asking and want to be polite, you can always use Sir for a man and Madam for a woman. In any case, many Americans are happy to use first names quite quickly after meeting someone for the first time. For example, Americans who are well past middle age will say – even to young people – Just call me Nancy/Bill.
