用Miss还是用Ms？

While some Americans still use the title Miss for an unmarried woman, it is becoming rare in the United States, unless the speaker is referring to a very young girl or a beauty queen, e.g. Miss America 1990. Nowadays, the more politically correct title Ms is preferred for females in their late teens or older.

虽然有些美国人仍然用Miss来称呼未婚女性，但是这种说法实际上已经越来越少见了，除非称呼那些年幼的女孩或者选美冠军，如Miss America 1990 （1990年度美国小姐）。如今，称呼18、19或20岁往上年龄的女性，最保险而且最被广泛接受的称呼是Ms（女士）。
